| Welcome to Uptown Girls. A trio of fabulous entertainers specializing in music of the 40’s and 50’s. We have been together since April, 2007. Sharon and Marilyn were previously part of a trio known as “Sister Act” which performed in BC’s Interior. When that group disbanded, the two girls found themselves really missing that third voice, especially when singing songs by The Andrews Sisters, which feature 3 voices with very tight harmonies. They found Juliana (aka “Julie”, aka “Jules”) and were very pleased with the new vocal blend! Uptown Girls pay tribute to many songs by several artists including the Andrews Sisters, the McGuire Sisters and the Puppini Sisters (a modern-day European swing trio), and so much more! Along with their awesome harmonies, their shows are filled with several costume changes and a lot of great choreography.
